Ok so the first trailer wasn’t working – the re-cut frames it as a tech demo. I wrote a tune for it, too!
Edit: Oh, and the name! ‘The Decline’. Thoughts?

Yeah looks nice of course, but I’m not sure who this is aimed at. The most important thing for me is the story you’re trying to tell, all these technology based things should be there to transparently help with the delivery. Just not sure showing footage broken up with headings like those is the best way to introduce this project to anyone. Still looks very appealing though and I like the music a lot.
Yeah, I agree. Calling it a trailer could be misleading. I’ve changed it to ‘technical trailer’. Ideally this thing would retain the story aspects we’d planned, but! Time, voice acting issues, blah blah blah.. The previous version /kind of/ includes the narrative aspect, but I figured it best to cut it out completely than do it badly.
It’s always about the concessions. : /
As a programmer I would have liked to see specific technical details. The tune is MASSIVE though… good work Samus! In particular, the harmonic qualities of the guitar are an Ableton Win
It’s a shame the original cut wasn’t working for you guys. I’d be interested to hear how you are solving the narrative problems – is this a voice acting problem or rooted deeper within the writing?
Wow! This is amazing! Very good feel to it. You created the music as well? I would love to get my hands on it. Amazing stuff! I found this site after browsing Moddb and stumbled upon your source engine video (amazing as well).
